Simon has more than 15 years’ experience in board and governance advisory work, including being a lead member of the AICD’s Board Advisory Practice. Simon co-founded Peakstone Global in 2020 to bring forth a new approach to advancing governance, both locally and globally. The firm has since built its reputation for excellence among its clients alongside building a leading network of practice directors and specialist advisors.
Simon’s Board experience includes roles as Deputy Chair of Open Minds Australia and Amnesty International Australia. He has chaired committees responsible for governance, nominations, remuneration, safety, membership engagement and M&As.

Richard has enormous practical experience on Boards and in governance, having been a Board Chair and Director for more than 25 years in a wide range of organisations.
Richard established Westlake Governance in 2001. Since then, it has become one of New Zealand’s most respected governance advisory and board development businesses. The firm has also completed many major reviews and assignments for customers in Asia and globally.
As a Board Chair, Richard has particular expertise and experience in leading transformational organisation change, across a range of sectors.
In addition to Simon and Richard’s extensive expertise, both Peakstone and Westlake have a network of well-respected Practice Directors and Specialist Advisors to deliver unparalleled global insights to your organisation.
